EDM 67 Something MUM

EDM67
My Mum’s name is Emma.  She is 90 and lives in a Rest Home.  These are things that came to mind when I thought about her …  the bluey-green piece of fabric and the lace came from favourite dresses.  Mum lived through the Depression and nothing was ever thrown out unless it disintegrated – she kept old zips, a jar full of buttons cut from old clothes, and all manner of things that “might be useful one day”. She always tried to look her best, and wearing pearls was one of her favourite things.  She still wears all of her jewellery every day, and you never see her without nail polish and lipstick!  Well done Mum!

A lovely page about your Mother.
Good to see you back.
I'll have to hurry up now.
