I've been reading about different line & wash techniques so decided to try charcoal & watercolour. Spent less than 10 minutes on the RH sketch. Took the bike to the park and spent a little more time trying to capture this section of it in the LH sketch, but acutally, I prefer the scribbly sketch.

EDM 35 A Bicycle Or Part Of One
I've been reading about different line & wash techniques so decided to try charcoal & watercolour. Spent less than 10 minutes on the RH sketch. Took the bike to the park and spent a little more time trying to capture this section of it in the LH sketch, but acutally, I prefer the scribbly sketch.

I rather like the charcoal drawing. Are you going to do more? Hillary.
Thanks Hillary, I am going to experiment more. I like the spontaneity of charcaol and the fact that it's hard to change once it's on paper.
